Senator Brent Hagenbuch, a Republican representing Texas’s 30th Senate district, has recently shared updates on his legislative and community activities through several posts on his social media account.
On September 30, 2025, Senator Hagenbuch highlighted his participation in a workshop focused on autonomous trucking and the implementation of SB 2807. He wrote, “I spent the day in Austin at the Autonomous Trucking & Texas SB 2807: From Statute To The Streets workshop.” As the author of SB 2807, it was great to participate in discussions regarding autonomous trucking and explore how these innovations are hitting the streets!”.
Two days later, on October 2, 2025, he discussed an engagement with a local civic organization. According to his post from that date, “Enjoyed sharing a legislative update with members of the Gainesville Texas Lions Club over lunch today. I’m thankful for the invitation and hope to visit with the club again in the near future!”.
Also on October 2, Senator Hagenbuch described his visit to a local family crisis center. He stated, “Honored to tour Abigail’s Arms Cooke Co Family Crisis Center in Gainesville. The mission of this organization is to provide a safe space for families in crisis, educate & empower individuals, & create awareness in our community. Proud of the services they provide to Cooke County!”.
Senator Hagenbuch assumed office after being elected in 2025 as state senator for Texas’s 30th district. He succeeded Drew Springer and has since participated actively in both legislative initiatives—such as authoring SB 2807—and community engagement events throughout North Texas.
