James Frank, a Republican serving as the Texas State House representative for the 69th district since 2013, recently shared his views on civil discourse and government regulation of speech in a series of posts on social media.

The following day, he reflected on the importance of open debate in society. In his post dated September 15, 2025, Frank wrote: “The ability to engage in civil discourse is one of the cornerstones of Western civilization and modern society. Frank has represented the state’s 69th House district since replacing Lanham Lyne in 2013.
