James Frank, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 69th district since 2013, recently shared a series of posts on his social media account addressing issues related to Iran’s leadership and healthcare costs in the United States.
On January 14, 2026, Frank commented on reports concerning executions in Iran, stating: “This from a regime that executed 2,200 people last year. Truly evil leadership in Iran. Pray for Iran/Persians. #txlege https://t.co/gD65Veb57O”.
The following day, January 15, Frank turned his attention to healthcare in the U.S., criticizing current cost structures and calling for reforms. He wrote: “The absolute rip-off of the American people will continue until real market forces are unleashed on healthcare costs. Thanks for your leadership!! Transparency Competition (ie break em up) Customer engagement ($ to the patient) #txlege https://t.co/wBC0C0vZ6I”.
Later that same day, he questioned insurance company practices under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), posting: “So insurance company gets paid 100% of ACA premium whether the enrollee exists, is still alive or doesn’t even know they have coverage? Sounds like a great business model. #txlege https://t.co/c0iGcXfpmQ”.
Frank has served as a state representative since replacing Lanham Lyne in 2013 and continues to engage with legislative topics and international human rights concerns through public statements.
