James Frank, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 69th district since 2013, recently commented on legislative matters and healthcare issues through a series of posts on social media.
On September 1, 2025, Frank congratulated a state senator and praised their leadership in higher education systems. He wrote, “Fantastic leader for a fantastic system. Congratulations Senator!! @TexasTech @MSUTexas #txlege”.
Two days later, on September 2, 2025, Frank addressed rising medical costs and proposed solutions to the issue. In his post he stated, “Great post how perverse incentives historically have driven up medical costs and continue to keep them high.
Antidote is 1) Transparency 2) True Competition and 3) Engaged Patients. #txlege”.
On September 4, 2025, Frank referenced legislative proceedings involving a senator’s confirmation process and made an analogy to a vehicular accident cleanup effort by Robert Kennedy Jr. He posted, “The “multiple vehicle pileup” took place during the Senator’s time confirming picks. @RobertKennedyJr is trying to clean up the scene of the accident. #txlege”.
Frank has served in the Texas State House since his election in 2013 after succeeding Lanham Lyne as representative for District 69.
