James Frank, a Republican serving in the Texas State House since 2013 and representing the 69th district, recently shared several comments on his Twitter account addressing media practices and pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs).

On August 9, 2025, Frank commented on a media production by the Biltmore team, stating, “Great video, but I noticed the Biltmore media team only messed with the 3 brothers’ faces and left Bruce’s alone. Smart.”

Later that day, he turned his attention to PBMs and their business practices. In a post timestamped August 9, 2025, Frank wrote, “And you can’t have kickbacks – unless of course you are a PBM. Then you can have kickbacks from related companies. SMH. #txlege”

Continuing his commentary on legislative matters in Texas with another post on August 9, Frank stated: “Don’t confuse people with the facts. Lol. #txlege.”

Frank has been an active participant in Texas politics since his election to replace Lanham Lyne in the state’s House of Representatives in 2013.
