James Frank, a Republican member of the Texas State House representing the 69th district since 2013, posted a series of tweets on December 13, 2025, addressing healthcare costs and regulations.

In his first tweet at 14:15 UTC, Frank stated, “Markets lower costs. Government Regs raise costs. #txlege”.

Later that day at 14:42 UTC, he wrote, “Doctors actually provide care to patients. What has ballooned over the past 20 years is the $$$ going to people that don’t actually provide care to patients. #txlege”.

At 15:35 UTC, Frank addressed federal regulations in another post: “Remove the “safe harbor” provision of the Federal Anti-trust statute that allows the secret kickbacks that would jail anyone else in the medical chain of commerce. Actions that get doctors or hospital admins in jail is bragged about by insurance co’s & PBM’s. #txlege”.

Frank was elected to represent Texas’s 69th House district in 2013 after succeeding Lanham Lyne.
