Lubbock Christian falls to Oklahoma Christian 7-2 in Division II softball matchup

The Lubbock Christian Chaparrals, featuring former Burkburnett High School standout Natalee Gray, were defeated 7-2 by the Oklahoma Christian Lady Eagles in an NCAA Division II softball game held Friday, Feb. 27, at 2 p.m.

Tom Heath Field at Lawson Plaza was the venue for this season’s first game between the Chaparrals and the Lady Eagles.

Gray, pitching for Lubbock Christian, gave up five earned runs and issued four walks over four innings.

The Chaparrals are set to face Oklahoma Christian again at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at Tom Heath Field at Lawson Plaza.
