Senator Brent Hagenbuch, a Republican elected to the Texas State Senate in 2025 representing the state’s 30th Senate district, has recently used his social media platform to address significant events and issues affecting Texans.

On January 26, 2026, Hagenbuch posted a message recognizing Holocaust Remembrance Day. In his statement, he said, “On this Holocaust Remembrance Day, we remember the millions of innocent lives that were so tragically taken during the Holocaust more than 70 years ago. The Holocaust should never be trivialized or denied. As a nation, we must continue to take a stand against antisemitism.”

The following day, January 27, Hagenbuch expressed condolences regarding a recent tragedy in Frisco. He wrote, “Our thoughts & prayers go out to the families directly impacted by the devastating sledding accident in Frisco. Please join me in praying for the families, Wakeland High School, @friscoisd, and the community of Frisco as they cope with this tragic and unimaginable loss.”

On January 28, Hagenbuch issued an urgent call to action related to an upcoming special election in Tarrant County. He stated: “Republican Red Alert for Tarrant County! The Senate District 9 Special Election is Saturday! Turnout has been low due to bad weather. Please call ALL your Tarrant County contacts who live in SD 9 (see map) and encourage them to vote Saturday to elect @LeighForTexas !”

Hagenbuch succeeded Drew Springer as senator for Texas’s 30th district after winning election in 2025.
