Senator Brent Hagenbuch, a Republican representing Texas’s 30th Senate district, used his social media platform to commemorate Peace Officers Memorial Day and highlight educational initiatives in his district through a series of posts on May 15 and 16, 2026.
On May 15, Senator Hagenbuch marked the national day of remembrance for fallen law enforcement officers. In a tweet posted at 14:23 UTC, he stated, “It’s Peace Officers Memorial Day (May 15), a national day of remembrance for law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty. Today we honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Their courage and commitment will never be forgotten. https://t.co/rOG2CHWLff”. Minutes later, he followed up with another post referencing scripture: “Very fitting verse for today as we recognize Peace Officers Memorial Day. https://t.co/3L2yQxISQL”.
The following afternoon, Hagenbuch shared his experience touring LaGrone Academy at the ATC campus. In his May 16 tweet at 03:27 UTC, he wrote: “This afternoon I had the honor of taking a tour of the awesome campus of LaGrone Academy at the ATC. LaGrone Academy blends core academic classes with advanced, hands-on vocational and technical training. This prepares students to enter the workforce! https://t.co/h0vZ5Z7fNl”.
Hagenbuch was elected to the Texas State Senate in 2025 after replacing Drew Springer as representative for District 30.
