The following day, he marked the anniversary of the first March for Life in Washington D.C., noting its connection to abortion legislation in Texas. On January 25, 2026, he wrote: “On Jan 22, 1974, the 1st March for Life was held on the west steps of the Capitol in Washington D.C. on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Since Sept 2021, the TX Heartbeat Act and Roe v Wade being overturned, an estimated over 200,000 babies have been saved from abortion in Texas. https://t.co/Up4e1tHi2N”.
