Senator Brent Hagenbuch, a Republican representing Texas’ 30th Senate district, posted a series of messages on his social media account reflecting on recent events and historical milestones.

On January 24, 2026, Hagenbuch shared an update with the message: “Great update! https://t.co/beB608dZjq”.

The following day, he marked the anniversary of the first March for Life in Washington D.C., noting its connection to abortion legislation in Texas. On January 25, 2026, he wrote: “On Jan 22, 1974, the 1st March for Life was held on the west steps of the Capitol in Washington D.C. on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Since Sept 2021, the TX Heartbeat Act and Roe v Wade being overturned, an estimated over 200,000 babies have been saved from abortion in Texas. https://t.co/Up4e1tHi2N”.

Later that day, Hagenbuch posted a reflection connecting biblical references to weather phenomena: “The Bible mentions ‘snow’ 24 times. Most commonly it is used to symbolize purity, divine cleansing, and God’s power. It is also evidence of the creativity and glory of God. Thunder and lightning, snow and rain, God created them all. Have a blessed Sunday! https://t.co/gr9rSPchuF”.

Hagenbuch assumed office in the Texas State Senate in 2025 after succeeding Drew Springer as representative for District 30.
