Senator Brent Hagenbuch, a Republican representing Texas’s 30th Senate district since 2025, has recently posted updates on early voting and community engagement through his social media account.
On February 17, 2026, Senator Hagenbuch informed constituents about the commencement of early voting for the primary election. He wrote, “Early Voting begins today! The votes you make in this primary election will determine the candidate for the 2026 General Election. You will vote on US Senate, statewide races, congressional seats, and local county offices. You will also find 10 propositions on the ballot.”
Two days later, on February 19, he provided an update regarding the ongoing early voting period and clarified the nature of ballot propositions: “It’s Day 3 of Early Voting! If you have not made it to the polls to cast your vote, there are eight more days to vote early. Below is the list of propositions. Voting for The propositions is simply a way of casting your opinion on this subject. These do not change any laws!”
In addition to election-related posts, Senator Hagenbuch highlighted his participation in a local event on February 20: “I was honored to be invited to speak at Sherman In Focus. It’s great to join community leaders and have conversations about the future of Sherman and the commitment to the growth and progress of this amazing city. Thank you to Sherman Chamber of Commerce for this incredible event”
Hagenbuch assumed office after being elected in 2025, succeeding Drew Springer as state senator for Texas’s 30th district.
