CITY OF SAGINAW: Saginaw Public Library Reopening to the Public beginning May 28

Library kids(1000)

City of Saginaw issued the following announcement on May 26

The John Ed Keeter Public Library of Saginaw will be reopening to the public on Thursday, May 28, with normal operating hours. Please bear with us as we try to balance safety with service!

A few things to be aware of:

• Please return all materials to the outside book drop; we will not be receiving items at the desk.

• Per state guidelines, we are limited to 47 (forty-seven) patrons inside the Library at a time.

• We encourage library patrons to wear masks.

• We will still be offering curbside service. Please call the Library when you are here to pick up.

• We cannot get items from our partner libraries right now.

• We have a limited number of computers available so that we can maintain distance between our patrons. If you just need to print, please consider using the mobile print options on our website.

• Per state guidelines, all toys and games have been removed, for now.

• We are still quarantining items to ensure they are virus-free before going back on the shelf. This means that they may stay on your account for up to a week after you return them.

• We are still having Summer Reading Club! It will just look a little different from usual. Check our website and Facebook page for details at www.saginawlibrarytexas.org

Thank you for your patience! We are so happy to begin serving you again in person.
