CITY OF JACKSBORO: Notice of Public Hearing - Planning and Zoning

City of Jacksboro issued the following announcement on Nov. 24

CITY OF JACKSBORO PLANNING AND ZONING PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

For the purpose of considering the effects of requested zoning amendments, the following public hearings will be held: City of Jacksboro Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, December 7, 2020, at 5:30 p.m. and Jacksboro City Council on Monday, December 14, 2020, at 5:30 p.m. 

The following amendments to the City of Jacksboro Zoning Ordinance will be considered:

  1. REQUEST FOR ZONING CHANGE FROM SINGLE FAMILY 1 (SF1) TO THE CONTIGUOUS THOROUGHFARE COMMERCIAL (TC) ZONING DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY IDENTIFIED AS 614 N 6TH STREET, JACKSBORO, ALSO IDENTIFIED AS JACK COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT PARCEL #9076 AND BEING LOT 1 OF BLOCK 42 OF LINDSEY ADDITION, JACKSBORO, JACK COUNTY, TX. (Case# Z-04-2020).

If held as in-person and on-site meetings, both meetings will be held at the Council Room at Jacksboro City Hall, 112 W. Belknap, Jacksboro, Texas 76458. If the meetings are held as video conferences due to COVID-19 mandates with virtual public attendance and participation, a link to the video conference meeting and public access and participation information will be provided at www.cityofjacksboro.com on the Home Page under News Flash, or you may contact the City Secretary.

All citizens and Jacksboro property owners interested are encouraged to participate in the hearing(s). Persons wishing their opinion to be part of the record who are unable to attend may send a written reply prior to the date of the hearing(s) to the City of Jacksboro c/o Brenda Tarpley, City Secretary, City Hall 112 W. Belknap St, Jacksboro, TX, 940-567-6321.
