City of Holiday issued the following announcement on Dec. 22
This year the Parks & Events Committee decided to have a new event. Since we could not have Santa in the park the committee decided to have a “Best Decorated House Contest.” They had 9 entries and all were beautiful. The committee posted pictures of the houses and then asked people to vote by liking the picture.
First Place goes to 411 N. West Ave with 126 votes. Go by and see all of their blow-up Christmas scenes and lights, whimsical.
Second Place goes to 1106 E. Olive with 115 votes. This house has a large trees and angels for all their granddaughters, beautiful.
Third Place goes to 102 E. Myrtle with 93 votes. Beautifully wrapped tree and lights on the house, classic.
All the other entries are beautiful also and deserve to be mentioned, please drive around and enjoy the Christmas spirit.
