King County schools enroll 5 gifted and talented students in the 2020-2021 school year

Hs test 01

King County schools enrolled five students who were identified as being gifted and talented during the 2020-2021 school year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

This is unchanged from the previous school year.

Of the 127 students enrolled in King County schools, 3.9% of them were considered to be gifted and talented.

King County enrolled the third lowest number of gifted and talented students among Texas counties.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
