There were 537 students enrolled in Haskell CISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 2.4% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 52.7% of them were boys, and 47.3% were girls.

The most represented ethnicity among Haskell CISD students was white, accounting for 49% of the student population.

Haskell CISD roughly covers schools within Haskell County with its main office in Haskell.

Among the three schools in Haskell CISD, Haskell Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 269 students in the 2021-22 school year.

Education in Texas is often a hot button issue, especially as test scores lag behind other states.

"The problems commonly cited are flaws in the school financing system, relatively low teacher salary, poor test performance by students... dropouts from traditional schools in favor of charter schools... gun violence, and mental health issues," claimed the Texas Almanac.
