How many students were enrolled in City View ISD schools in 2021-22 school year?

There were 1,121 students enrolled in City View ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 9.6% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 50.1% of them were boys, and 49.9% were girls.

The most represented ethnicity among City View ISD students was white, accounting for 43.4% of the student population.

City View ISD roughly covers schools within Wichita County with its main office in Wichita Falls.

Among the three schools in City View ISD, City View Junior/Senior High School recorded the highest enrollment of 600 students in the 2021-22 school year.

Education in Texas is often a hot button issue, especially as test scores lag behind other states.

"The problems commonly cited are flaws in the school financing system, relatively low teacher salary, poor test performance by students... dropouts from traditional schools in favor of charter schools... gun violence, and mental health issues," claimed the Texas Almanac.
