Saint Jo ISD schools Education: 276 white students were enrolled in schools in 2021-22 school year

There were 276 white students enrolled in Saint Jo ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 0.4% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Saint Jo ISD schools welcomed 322 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, white students comprised 85.7% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Saint Jo ISD roughly covers schools within Montague County and has a main office in St. Jo.

Among the two schools in Saint Jo ISD schools, Saint Jo Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 157 students.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
