There were 395 Hispanic students enrolled in City View ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 3.4% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that City View ISD schools welcomed 1,133 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 34.9% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

City View ISD roughly covers schools within Wichita County and has a main office in Wichita Falls.

Among the three schools in City View ISD schools, City View Junior/Senior High School recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 209 students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
