Central College Texas issued the following announcement on May 11
Registration for summer I classroom courses at the Central Texas College (CTC) central campus is open now through May 31. Returning students who have a degree plan on file may register using the school’s online WebAdvisor system while new students must first complete the online admissions process before registering. As CTC personnel are working remotely during the COVID-19 crisis, students can email or use the “chat” feature to reach an academic advisor, the Eagles On Call Center, the Financial Aid office or other services. The contact information is listed on the CTC website under the “Students” tab.
All classes during the summer semester will begin online and may revert to face-to-face classroom delivery during the semester as CTC monitors and adheres to notices from governmental and health agencies. Labs required for vocational and technical programs, such as allied health and industrial technology that cannot be delivered remotely, may be delivered in small group settings in accordance with CDC guidelines. Career and technical classes will continue the hands-on component through an appointment system.
CTC is also offering traditional online courses throughout the summer with various start dates. The first online classes start May 26 followed by June 1, June 15, June 22, July 6 and July 20. The summer II semester of classroom courses converted to online is a five-week term which starts July 6. The registration deadline for these classes is July 5.
