There were 994 students enrolled in Henrietta ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 5.2% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 54.3% of them were boys, and 45.7% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 84.2% of the Henrietta ISD total enrollment.

Henrietta ISD roughly covers schools within Clay County with its main office in Henrietta.

Among the three schools in Henrietta ISD, Henrietta Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 481 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
