King County Education: 98 students enrolled in 2023-24 school year

There were 98 students enrolled in King County schools in the 2023-24 school year, 17.6% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

At the time, King County had the lowest enrollment in the state.

Data also showed that white students made up 95.9% of the student body, the largest percentage in King County schools, followed by Hispanic students at 4.1%.

A recent study by WalletHub classified Texas as one of the least-educated states in the U.S., ranking it 41st out of 50 in educational quality and student outcomes.
