There were 1,895 students enrolled in Iowa Park CISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 1.6% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 54% of them were boys, and 46% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 83.5% of the Iowa Park CISD total enrollment.

Iowa Park CISD roughly covers schools within Wichita County with its main office in Iowa Park.

Among the five schools in Iowa Park CISD, Iowa Park High School recorded the highest enrollment of 544 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Education in Texas is often a hot button issue, especially as test scores lag behind other states.

"The problems commonly cited are flaws in the school financing system, relatively low teacher salary, poor test performance by students... dropouts from traditional schools in favor of charter schools... gun violence, and mental health issues," claimed the Texas Almanac.
